Responsibilities

  • Review project requirements, specifications, and blueprints to understand the scope of work and identify potential cost-impacting issues.
  • Conduct on-site visits to evaluate the work environment and gather necessary information for estimating.
  • Ensure estimates align with local building codes, permit requirements, and industry standards.
  • Analyze and interpret data to create accurate cost estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Source materials, negotiate pricing with suppliers, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Determine workforce needs, estimate project schedules, and align installation timelines with labor availability.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of estimates.
  • Manage project estimates throughout the project lifecycle, updating estimates as needed.
  • Monitor and track project costs to ensure projects remain within budget constraints.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve estimating processes and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project estimation, specifically in aluminum and vinyl windows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Knowledge of construction industry standards, materials, and equipment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and estimating software - Revu/BlueBeam.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently.
